-This is our pet cat named Amelia. I remember ….

Amelia Beal: 22 March 2000 – 1 February 2015 ~ When we moved to Tennessee, this black outdoor cat ‘came with the house.’ We named her Amelia (after Amelia Earhart, since she was so adventurous.) She was five years old and such a sweet kitty that we fell in love with her the first night when she brought us a ‘gift’ – a chipmunk. Amelia is probably the only cat in the world who has attended about 25 grief retreats. She offered entertainment and comfort to many people. She died peacefully in her sleep from cancer shortly before her fifteenth birthday. ~ Ronnie and Karyl
